I remember when I was sick
You would hold me tight.
Many times as I lay sick
You stayed up all night.
You would rock me to sleep
In that old Ricking Chair
Rubbing my head
your fingers thru my hair
I remember the movie ET
When you sat on some mans lap
I heard you say "OOPS and Giggle
All I could do was laugh
All of the hard times you helped get me thru
And now you are sick and there is nothing I can do
You take care of Everyone
Except for yourself
I want some answers right NOW
I want someone to help
I feel helpless Momma
What can I do?
So I put my pen to my paper
And wrote this poem for you.
It seems so Useless Momma
But its all I know
To show you My Love Momma
You are My Momma Rose.
